What is it?

The Centre for Cognition of Art operates within the Museum of the Radvilas Palace. The Centre creates a variety of educational programmes, promotes interest in visual, applied arts, folk art, and arranges events, excursions and different activities to acquaint visitors with the world of art in non-traditional ways.

Who is it for?
 

The Centre for Cognition of Art is for the pre-school children, secondary school pupils and educators, also everyone interested in art.

How does it operate?
 

The work of the Centre for Cognition of Art is based on modern pedagogy and psychology, perception aspects characteristic of different age groups. It aims to combine the development of the creative skills of the visitors with the cognition of the museum exposits, supplement the curricula of the educational institutions in art, history and other subjects.
